As artist and storyteller, I describe my work as a mash-up of Gorey, Poe and Suess. Stylistically, my work is verse, sing-song in nature. When illustrated, stories have the look and feel of children’s literature, yet content trends dark, somewhat brooding, and
more mature.
The images you see here are from my most recent project:
a compilation of ten short stories, each hand lettered, illustrated, and colored. These images represent four of the ten stories.
In look, tone, and style, the compilation is reminiscent of Aesop's Fables or Brothers Grimm. A product I feel attractive for not only what is written, but also for the visual.
